Anne Cullen, Freiheit Kennels, Chagrin Falls, Ohio

I have been involved with purebred dogs and horses since childhood in Ohio. I would conduct neighborhood "dog and horse shows" with my best friend Eve. My Cocker Spaniel "Buzzy", and my American Saddlebred, "Copper" were the stars of our shows!

Throughout high school and college I have always owned dogs and horses. I showed American Saddlebreds in Equitation and Saddle Seat, Thoroughbreds in Hunter-Jumper competition and dogs in Obedience.

After college I moved to Chicago, and worked for The First National Bank of Chicago. I met my husband, Tom Tormey, in the windy city and to my wonderful surprise Tom was from Ohio too (and he loved dogs!). We moved back to the Cleveland, Ohio area in the early 1980's and I became involved with German Shorthaired Pointers and in the '90's, Pointers.

GSP, Pointer, puppy, puppies, AKC, east OhioI have owned, bred, shown and also participated in field activities with my dogs under my Freiheit Kennel name and also co-own and co-breed with Karen Detterich, Paladen Pointers & GSP's, Riverside, California.

Residing in the Cleveland area, Chagrin Falls, Ohio in the country with my soul mate Tom (Torm) and several Pointers, GSP's and two Weim's.
